Every foreigner staying in Thailand on a long term visa has to notify immigration of their address every 90 days. It is a small formality with a disproportionate consequence: miss it and you pay a fine, and a pattern of missed reports can complicate your next extension.
The online system works when it works. When it does not, and it frequently does not in the last few days before a deadline, you are back to queueing at Jomtien. We simply do it for you.
When it is due
The count runs from your last entry into Thailand or from your last report, whichever is more recent. It resets every time you leave and re-enter the country, which is the part most people get wrong.
There is a window either side of the due date in which the report is accepted. Filing outside that window is a late report, with a fine.
Missed it?
It happens, particularly to people who travel. Come and see us rather than hoping it goes unnoticed. A late report settled promptly is a fine and an inconvenience. An unreported address discovered during an extension application is a much bigger problem.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to go to immigration myself?
No. With a signed authorisation and your passport we file on your behalf. Most clients drop the passport at our Thepprasit Road office and collect it the same day.
Does leaving Thailand reset the 90 days?
Yes. Any departure and re-entry restarts the count from the new entry date. This is why people who travel often lose track. We keep the date for you and message you when it is due.
Can you do it if I am out of town?
Yes, in most cases we can work from documents without you attending. Message us on LINE and we will tell you what we need from you.
Due soon, or already late?
Message us on LINE with a photo of your passport page and your last report slip. We will tell you your exact deadline and file it for you.
