Naklua is the old fishing town at the north end of the bay, and Wongamat is the beach that runs off it. Together they are the upmarket, quieter end of Pattaya, popular with families, Japanese and Korean residents and people who wanted the beach without the noise.
Property here is generally more expensive per square metre than central Pattaya, and it has held that premium better than most areas.
